Brandi Jasmine
began her artistic career by hand painting t-shirts in Vancouver, B.C.'s
fashionable "Robson Street" district.
Brandi is proficient in photography, acrylics, watercolor,
fabric-painting, line-drawing and painting, and she combines all of these
mediums into a distinctive style she calls "photo-illustration".
She has painted on a wide variety of different non-traditional
"canvases" including t-shirts, futon covers, mailboxes, but the
most unique is "the art car", which was retired from the road
September 2005.
Brandi's artwork draws from a wide variety of styles and subject matter.
Her fantasy and mystical style is influenced by the works of Maxfield
Parrish and Wendi Pini.
Brandi Jasmine was the featured illustrator of the 2003
International Astrological Society Calendar, published by American Media.
